Hi!
(Norsk tekst under)
Sorry about the delay, but we’ve finally managed to get a decent hotel offer in place. You’re of course free to stay anywhere you like, but sometimes it’s nice to be able to sit down and have breakfast with other eventees, and this has been a good tradition for several of us over the past few years. This year, however, our usual hotel, Bakeriet, gave us a silly price, so we chose to look elsewhere for a good offer, and we’ve ended up basically across the street, at Comfort Hotel Trondheim in Krambugata. It’s a two-minute walk from Bakeriet:
The prices they’re offering us are as follows:
Single room: 899 NOK per room per night
Double/twin room: 999 NOK per room per night
Triple room: 1249 NOK per room per night
All prices are including breakfast, access to the hotel gym and Wi-Fi.
The hotel are holding 12 single rooms, 12 double rooms and 2 triple rooms (but triples are basically just an extra bed in a double room, so turning double rooms into triple rooms if we need more, is easy) until one month before the event, but if you know you’re going to book, please do so as soon as possible to make things easier for the hotel. To book, call the front desk at +47 73 58 88 88 or email them at co.trondheim@choice.no. The reference number to get the good rates is 1105GR011092. They will require your full name, your phone number and credit/debit card details, but there will be no deposit taken from the card upon booking. Payment is due at check-in.
The rates also apply if you decide to arrive on Wednesday or Thursday, or leave on Monday.
I know that some of you wanted a hotel that offers free parking. The problem is that there are basically no hotels in central Trondheim who do this, so we would have had to go further out from the city centre - which isn’t necessarily a big problem, except those hotels are mainly located at the opposite side of the city. There is normally street parking available close to our hotel, and that’s free of charge after 8pm on weekdays, after 3pm on Saturdays and all day on Sundays.
